Frequently asked questions


How often do I need to come for treatments?
  This depends on your condition.  More complex cases may take longer than less severe cases.  However, Dr. Miller prides himself on restoring your body in as few visits as possible.


Will I be sore after treatments?  You may be sore, especially after the first few treatments, as your body gets used to being treated.  If your soreness lasts more than 3 days, please contact our office.


Does my insurance cover chiropractic?  Most major medical insurances cover chiropractic care with only a co-payment or deductible.  Our billing manager would be glad to review your insurance benefits with you before you are seen at our office.


Will I need a referral?  For most major insurances, no referral is necessary. 


I have osteoporosis and am scared to be manipulated, can you still help me?  We have many patients who may have conditions where manual manipulation is contraindicated.  We use safe and gentle techniques, such as instrument adjusting, to help in these conditions. 


Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?  Yes.  Chiropractic care is not just safe, but women during pregnancy should seek chiropractic care to help reduce postural aches and adjustments aide in the delivery process.


Can chiropractic help children? Chiropractic has proven to be beneficial for children, from infancy through adolescence, to treat various conditions. The treatment used is dependent on a child's age.
